Trisira’s Counsel and the Slaying of Naranthaka
एकेनानन्तकल्पेनप्रासेनादित्यतेजसा ।भग्नानिहरिसैन्यानिनिपेतुर्धरणीतले ।।।।
ekena anantakalpena prāsena ādityatejasā |
bhagnāni harisainyāni nipetur dharaṇītale ||6.69.75||
برمحٍ واحد—قاتلٍ كالقَدَر ومتوهّجٍ بضياء الشمس—حطّم صفوفَ الفانارا، فسقطت الجموعُ المنهزمة على وجه الأرض.
With lance that looked like death and the spear glowing like the Sun, Naranthaka routed the Vanaras, who fell down.
Power without righteousness becomes ruinous; the righteous response in dharma is organized protection of allies and resistance to unjust aggression.
Narāntaka’s spear attack breaks the Vanara formations, causing many to fall.
For the defenders, saṅgha-śakti (collective resilience) is implied as necessary when a single powerful foe causes mass disruption.
