Vanaras who had conquered fear crushed Rakshasas into lumps of flesh indeed the Rakshasas threw out blood from their mouths.
The verse contrasts fearlessness in dharmic duty with the collapse of adharma: courage and discipline enable defenders to overcome brutal aggressors.
In close combat, vānara fighters overpower rākṣasas; the scene emphasizes the intensity and physical toll of the battle.
Fear-conquest (jitakāśitva): steadiness under threat, a martial expression of commitment to a righteous cause.
