Sītā’s Lament over the Illusory Head and Bow
सात्वांसुप्तंहतंश्रुत्वामांचरक्षोगृहंगताम् ।हृदयेनविदीर्णेननभविष्यतिराघव ।।6.32.27।।
sā tvāṃ suptaṃ hataṃ śrutvā māṃ ca rakṣo-gṛhaṃ gatām |
hṛdayena vidīrṇena na bhaviṣyati rāghava ||6.32.27||
يا راغهافا، إذا سمعتْ أنك قُتلتَ وأنت نائم، وأنني سِيقَتُ إلى دارِ الرَّاكشاسا، فلن تبقى حيّةً—فقد يتمزّق قلبُها من شدة الأسى.
"Raghava! Hearing that you were killed while asleep and I was taken to the home of Rakshasas, Kausalya will not be able to survive with a broken heart."
