विभीषणागमनम्
Vibhīṣaṇa’s Arrival and the Debate on Refuge
इत्युक्त्वापरुषंवाक्यंरावणंरावणानुजः ।आजगाममुहूर्तेनयत्ररामस्सलक्ष्मणः ।।6.17.1।।
ity uktvā paruṣaṃ vākyaṃ rāvaṇaṃ rāvaṇānujaḥ |
ājagāma muhūrtena yatra rāmaḥ sa-lakṣmaṇaḥ ||
فلما قال تلك الكلمات القاسية لرافَنا، مضى أخوه الأصغر فيبيشانا سريعًا إلى الموضع الذي كان فيه راما مع لاكشمانا.
Vibheeshana, having addressed Ravana in harsh language, reached Rama and Lakshmana in a short while.
Dharma is framed as seeking rightful refuge: when truth is rejected by power, the dharmic person turns toward the just protector.
Vibhīṣaṇa, having spoken harshly to Rāvaṇa, goes quickly to where Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa are.
Conscience (antar-ātman): acting according to inner moral clarity rather than fear or attachment.
