विभीषणागमनम्
Vibhīṣaṇa’s Arrival and the Debate on Refuge
इत्युक्त्वापरुषंवाक्यंरावणंरावणानुजः ।आजगाममुहूर्तेनयत्ररामस्सलक्ष्मणः ।।6.17.1।।
ity uktvā paruṣaṃ vākyaṃ rāvaṇaṃ rāvaṇānujaḥ |
ājagāma muhūrtena yatra rāmaḥ sa-lakṣmaṇaḥ ||
فلما قال لرافَنا تلك الكلمات القاسية، مضى أخوه الأصغر (فيبيشانا) في لحظة إلى الموضع الذي كان فيه راما مع لاكشمانا.
Vibheeshana, having addressed Ravana in harsh language, reached Rama and Lakshmana in a short while.
When confronted with moral disorder, dharma is upheld by seeking the shelter of truth and justice rather than remaining bound by harmful allegiance.
Vibhīṣaṇa, after rebuking Rāvaṇa, goes swiftly to Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa.
Righteous independence: the ability to step away from unjust authority.
