Hanumān’s Return, Roar of Success, and the Announcement “Sītā Seen”
tasya bāhūru-vegaṃ ca ninādaṃ ca mahātmanaḥ |
niśamya harayo hṛṣṭāḥ samutpetus tatas tataḥ ||
Hearing the sound of his dashing movements of arms and thighs the vanaras jumpedabout in joy, then and there.
Dharma includes honoring righteous achievement: the troop’s joy is not mere excitement, but recognition that truthful duty is being fulfilled for Sītā and Rāma’s cause.
The vānaras audibly perceive Hanumān’s rapid approach and react with spontaneous celebration.
Kṛtajñatā (appreciation) and saṅgha-prīti (shared joy): they rejoice together at a companion’s success.
