Hanuman Enters Lanka and Encounters Laṅkā-devatā
तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा लङ्का सा कामरूपिणी।भूय एव पुनर्वाक्यं बभाषे परुषाक्षरम्।।।।
tasya tad-vacanaṃ śrutvā laṅkā sā kāma-rūpiṇī | bhūya eva punar-vākyaṃ babhāṣe paruṣākṣaram ||
فلما سمعت لانكا كلامه—وهي القادرة على التشكل كما تشاء—تكلمت مرةً أخرى، وقد غلظت ألفاظها واشتدّ نبرها.
