अशोकवनिकायां सीतादर्शनम्
Sita Seen in the Ashoka Grove
स देशः प्रभया तेषां प्रदीप्त इव सर्वतः।पुन्नागास्सप्तपर्णाश्च चम्पकोद्दालकास्तथा।।।।विवृद्धमूला बहवश्शोभन्ते स्म सुपुष्पिताः।
sa deśaḥ prabhayā teṣāṃ pradīpta iva sarvataḥ |
punnāgāḥ saptaparṇāś ca campakoddālakās tathā ||
vivṛddhamūlā bahavaḥ śobhante sma supuṣpitāḥ |
وكان ذلك الموضع، بضياء تلك الأشجار، يبدو كأنه مشتعلٌ من كل جانب؛ فالبُنّاغا والسَّبتَبرْنا، وكذلك التشامباكا والأُدّالَكا—وكثيرٌ منها عميقُ الجذور—كانت تتلألأ هناك في تمام الإزهار.
The grove shone bright as if it were inflamed fire with beautiful trees like purnaga, saptaparna, champak and uddalaka in full bloom.
