May all sages, gods, the selfborn Brahma, Windgod, Indra, the wielder of thunderbolt whose name is invoked in sacrifices, Yama, who carries a rope, Varuna give success and Lord Siva help me. May the Sun, Moon, Aswinis Marutas assist me. May the gods of the quarters and the lord of all beings help me to succeed. May those whom I could not see also bring success to me.
Hanuman seeks divine support to complete a righteous mission—finding Sita and serving Rama—showing dharma as steadfast duty carried out with humility and dependence on higher moral order.
By invoking the gods as witnesses and helpers, Hanuman aligns his intention with truthfulness—his aim is not personal gain but the truthful fulfillment of Rama’s purpose and Sita’s deliverance.
