أيها الملك، ما دامت مياهُ المحيط باقيةً في هذا العالم، فهكذا سيبقى أبناءُ ساغرا في السماء كالدِّيفات.
This Ganga will become your eldest daughter and from now on she will be well-known in this world (as Bhagirathi) after your name.
Dharma is portrayed as enduring in its fruits: righteous acts and sacred purifications produce long-lasting consequences, linking cosmic order (ocean’s existence) to moral-spiritual results.
A lasting assurance is stated: Sagara’s sons will remain in heaven for as long as the ocean endures.
Steadfast commitment to a vow (as seen in the larger Gaṅgā-descent episode) whose results are stable and far-reaching.
