Commencement and Performance of Daśaratha’s Aśvamedha
नाषडङ्गविदत्रासीन्नाव्रतो नाबहुश्रुत:।सदस्यास्तस्य वै राज्ञो नावादकुशला द्विजा:।।।।
nāṣaḍaṅgavid atrāsīn nāvrato nābahuśrutaḥ |
sadasyās tasya vai rājño nāvādakuśalā dvijāḥ ||
في قاعة القربان للملك لم يكن هناك كاهنٌ معاون يجهلُ العلومَ الستَّ المتمِّمة، ولا من ينقضُ نذورَه، ولا قليلُ العلم، ولا غيرُ الماهر في المناظرة العقدية؛ ولم يكن بين الحاضرين من البراهمة من يفتقر إلى هذه الكفاية.
