अयोध्याकाण्डे त्र्यशीति तमः सर्गः — Bharata’s Departure and Encampment on the Gaṅgā

नवनागसहस्राणि कल्पितानि यथाविधि।अन्वयुर्भरतं यान्तमिक्ष्वाकुकुलनन्दनम्।।2.83.3।।
navanāgasahasrāṇi kalpitāni yathāvidhi |
anvayur bharataṃ yāntam ikṣvākukulanandanam || 2.83.3 ||
وفق النظام الشعائري المقرر، صُفَّت تسعةُ آلافِ فيلٍ على الوجه اللائق، وسارت تتبعُ بهاراتا المنطلقَ، بهجةَ سلالةِ إكشڤاكو.
As per tradition, nine thousand elephants were arranged to follow Bharata, delight ofthe race of the Ikshvakus as he set out.
Dharma as ordered tradition (yathāvidhi): even in grief and urgency, the kingdom maintains disciplined procedure, reflecting stability and legitimacy in public action.
Bharata travels with a vast royal retinue; the text details the scale and orderly arrangement of the accompanying forces.
Bharata’s public responsibility as an Ikṣvāku prince—moving with due order and dignity befitting a guardian of the realm.
