Transliteration

idaṃ vyasanam ālokya rājñaś ca mativibhramam | kāma evārthadharmābhyāṃ garīyān iti me matiḥ ||

Translation

إذ أرى هذه النازلة واضطرابَ رأي الملك، أخلصُ إلى أن الشهوة وحدها أرجحُ من المال ومن الدَّرما معًا.
