Transliteration

dhruvam adya purī rājan ayodhyāyudhināṃ vara | niṣprabhā tvayi niṣkrānte gatacandreva śarvarī ||

Translation

يا أيها الملك، يا خيرَ حملةِ السلاح، إن مدينة أيودھيا اليوم، إذ خرجتَ عنها، قد غدت بلا بهاء، كليلةٍ سُلبت قمرَها.
