أخبر كوشاليا بعافيتنا؛ وبكلمةٍ من سيتا ومني ومن لاكشمانا النبيل، قدّم لها سجودنا عند قدميها.
Having said this to the king, O Sumantra tell my mother, the other queens including Kaikeyi again and again about my wellbeing and the wellbeing of Lakshmana and Sita. Convey our respectful salutations at the feet of mother Kausalya.
Dharma is filial reverence: even in exile, one remains devoted to the mother through respectful remembrance and formal salutations.
Rāma sends reassurance and respectful greetings to Kauśalyā through Sumantra.
Gratitude and humility—honouring elders as a continuing duty.
