ततो यथावद्रामेण स राज्ञो गुरुरर्चितः।अभ्यनुज्ञाप्य काकुत्स्थं ययौ रामनिवेशनात्।।।।
tato yathāvad rāmeṇa sa rājño gurur arcitaḥ |
abhyanujñāpya kākutsthaṃ yayau rāma-niveśanāt ||
ثم إن مُعلِّمَ الملك، وقد أُكرِمَ على الوجه اللائق من راما، استأذن كاكوتسثا (راما) وانصرف من مسكن راما.
Thereafter, Vasistha, preceptor of the king duly honoured by the descendant of Kakutstha (Rama) left his abode.
Respect for the guru and proper leave-taking are part of maryādā and dharma—social ethics that sustain righteous order.
After arranging the preparatory observances, Vasiṣṭha is honored by Rāma and then departs from Rāma’s home.
Rāma’s humility and reverence toward his teacher, shown through due honor and formal permission-taking.
