Proposal for Rāma’s Installation as Heir-Apparent
गुणान् गुणवतो देव देवकल्पस्य धीमतः।प्रियानानन्दनान्कृत्स्नान्प्रवक्ष्यामोऽद्य तान् शृणु।।2.2.27।।
guṇān guṇavato deva deva-kalpasya dhīmataḥ |
priyān ānandanān kṛtsnān pravakṣyāmo ’dya tān śṛṇu || 2.2.27 ||
أيها الملك، اصغِ: سنذكر اليوم على التمام فضائل ذلك الأمير الفاضل الحكيم، الشبيه بالآلهة في هيئته؛ فضائل محبوبة لدى الجميع ومُفرِحة للقلوب.
O king!, we shall now speak about those great virtues of the sagacious (Rama). Comparable to those of the gods, they are dear and a source of delight for every one. Please listen.

The assembly prepares to explain, in detail, why Rāma is fit for consecration by enumerating his virtues.
