Transliteration

dhik kaṣṭam iti niḥśvasya rājā śokapariplutaḥ |

mūrchito nyapatat tasmin paryaṅke hemabhūṣite || 2.19.17 ||

Translation

وتنهّد الملك قائلاً: «وا حسرتاه، ما أشدّها من نازلة!» وقد غمره الحزن، فأُغمي عليه وسقط على ذلك السرير المزيّن بالذهب.
