एवं स्तुतः प्रसन्नात्मा देवान्प्रस्थाप्य शंकरः । स्वानि धिष्ण्यानि भगवांस्तत्रैवासीन्मुदान्वितः
evaṃ stutaḥ prasannātmā devānprasthāpya śaṃkaraḥ | svāni dhiṣṇyāni bhagavāṃstatraivāsīnmudānvitaḥ
هكذا لَمّا مُدِحَ شَنْكَرَ، وقد سكن قلبُه واطمأنّت نفسُه، أرسلَ الآلهةَ في طريقهم؛ ثم إنّ الربَّ المبارك، بعد أن أقامَ مساكنَه الإلهية، لبثَ هناك بعينه مفعمًا بالفرح.

After being praised, Śaṅkara becomes serene, dispatches the gods, establishes his own abodes (dhiṣṇyas), and remains there joyfully.

The verse highlights the efficacy of stuti (praise): sincere glorification leads to the deity’s prasannatā (pleased serenity) and benevolent, orderly action toward the gods and the world.
