FAQs

Govinda is a well-known epithet of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, indicating the divine protector and lord associated with Vaishnava narratives.

It states that Govinda did not obtain (or seize) a certain object, and that Prasena later went hunting while wearing/adorned with it.

The verse highlights restraint and non-seizure even when one has the power, setting up a narrative where possession and its consequences unfold through later events.
