तथापि शुचिभाङ्नस्यान्न विरज्यंति ते नराः । कायोयमग्र्यधूपाद्यैर्यत्नेनापि सुसंस्कृतः

tathāpi śucibhāṅnasyānna virajyaṃti te narāḥ | kāyoyamagryadhūpādyairyatnenāpi susaṃskṛtaḥ

ومع ذلك لا يصير الناس زاهدين في الباطن لمجرّد النظافة الظاهرة. فهذا الجسد—وإن صُقِل بعناية وزُيِّن بأطيب الطيب وما يتصل به من الزينة—لا يمنح بذاته التجرّد الروحي؛ إنما تقوم حقيقة التخلّي على البصيرة الداخلية.
