Viṣṇu
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
Sandhi Resolution Notes:
The speaker is Viṣṇu, and he offers a boon to the “Devamātā,” addressed as the illustrious Mother of the gods.
The verse highlights Viṣṇu’s prasāda (grace) as a decisive divine power that benefits many classes of beings, followed by his readiness to grant a boon.
It suggests that divine favor is not merely transactional; it precedes and enables blessings, encouraging humility and wise choice when one is given the opportunity to ask for a boon.
