avasastvaṃ sadā kalpe hareścāyatane vaṭe | nyagrodha hara me pāpaṃ kalpavṛkṣa namo'stu te || 25 ||
Narada (in a tirtha-mahatmya/prayerful instruction style within Uttara-Bhaga)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It presents a tirtha-oriented prayer where the sacred banyan (Nyagrodha) in Hari’s abode is revered as spiritually potent—capable of aiding pāpa-kṣaya (dissolution of sin) through devotion and reverence.
Bhakti is expressed through humble salutation (namo’stu te), remembrance of Hari’s presence, and honoring what is connected to Vishnu’s abode—showing that devotion sanctifies even natural symbols like the banyan tree.
Ritual-practical knowledge is implied rather than technical Vedanga: it reflects tirtha-sevā and stotra-prayoga (use of a brief hymn/prayer) as a devotional act for purification (pāpa-haraṇa).
