Narada (teaching in Uttara-Bhaga narrative style; traditional dialogue attribution within Narada Purana)

Secondary Rasa: karuna
It frames paying rightful remuneration as a dharmic act: without providing basic sustenance, one cannot claim the merit of having truly pleased or supported another.
Bhakti is not only ritual praise but also compassionate duty; supporting others’ livelihood becomes a practical expression of devotion through seva and non-harm.
It reflects dharma-niti (practical ethics) rather than a specific Vedanga; the takeaway is correct conduct in giving (dana) and fulfilling social obligations.
