प्रातरेकादशी प्राप्ता मा कृथा भोजनं क्वचित् । ब्रह्महत्यादिपापानि कामकारकृतानि च ॥ ३६ ॥
prātarekādaśī prāptā mā kṛthā bhojanaṃ kvacit | brahmahatyādipāpāni kāmakārakṛtāni ca || 36 ||
إذا أقبل صباح الإيكاداشي (Ekādaśī) فلا تتناولوا طعامًا في أي وقت؛ فبمراعاة ذلك تُمحى خطايا مثل «برهمهاتيا» (brahmahatyā) وسائر الكبائر، حتى ما ارتُكب عمدًا بدافع الشهوة.
