Sanatkumara (teaching Narada the technical ritual applications)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames abhiṣeka as a precise, intention-aligned ritual: specific substances and accompaniments are matched to specific outcomes, showing how devotion is expressed through disciplined, goal-focused worship.
Bhakti here is practical and embodied—honoring Maheśvarī through offerings, bathing, and celebratory music—where reverence is shown by carefully chosen upacāras rather than mere sentiment.
Ritual-technical know-how is emphasized: choosing dravya (materials) and prayojana (intended result) for a rite—an applied, procedural approach aligned with śrauta/smārta-style ritual logic.
