Sanatkumara (teaching Narada the technical procedure of an aggressive ritual act)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: raudra
It illustrates a technical, results-oriented rite (proccāṭana) within the Purana’s Vedāṅga/ritual-science section, showing how specific substances and a defined fire-offering context are prescribed for protective or aggressive outcomes.
This verse is not primarily bhakti-centered; it belongs to technical ritual instruction. In the Narada Purana framework, such rites are secondary and instrumental, whereas bhakti is presented elsewhere as the higher, purifying path.
Practical ritual-application knowledge: selection of dravya (offerings), the homa act (hutvā), and the specified ritual goal (proccāṭana), reflecting applied karmakāṇḍa procedure rather than grammar or metrics.
