It emphasizes that mantra-siddhi comes from correct upāsanā (disciplined worship/practice), and that such mastery is held to yield definite results—here described as stambhana—showing the text’s technical, results-oriented approach to mantra-vidyā.
Although it speaks in the idiom of mantra-application, it still rests on upāsanā—steady reverent practice—highlighting that focused devotion and correctness in worship are the basis for efficacy.
It reflects applied mantra-śāstra within the technical sciences stream associated with Book 1.3—stressing proper procedure (samyak-upāsanā) and the concept of specific prayogas (applications) like stambhana.
