FAQs

It marks a transition from definition to method: the text promises practical sādhana for “inner dharma,” emphasizing inward purification and disciplined conduct as the foundation of spiritual progress.

By foregrounding “inner dharma,” it frames bhakti as more than external observance—devotion must be supported by inner purity, sincerity, and disciplined practice, which the following verses are set to detail.

The verse signals a technical, method-focused section (sādhana-vāda) typical of Book 1.3’s Vedanga orientation—prioritizing structured practice and disciplined instruction rather than narrative alone.
