Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that inner purification (bhūta-śuddhi) is the immediate prerequisite for becoming ritually and spiritually fit, making worship and japa effective even when one seeks cleansing from heavy karmic impurities.
It frames bhakti-practices like pūjā and mantra-japa as grounded in purity of body–mind; devotional acts become properly aligned when preceded by disciplined purification and focused meditation.
Ritual procedure and mantra-practice (a prayoga-oriented, Vedāṅga-adjacent discipline) are emphasized: bhūta-śuddhi prepares the practitioner for correct japa and pūjā, functioning as a technical prerequisite within Vedic-style ritual conduct.
