समिद्धिस्त्रिशतं यामयदिङ्मुखो जुहुयान्निशि । एवं सप्तदिनं कुर्वन्मारयेदुद्धतं रिपुन् ॥ ३७ ॥

samiddhistriśataṃ yāmayadiṅmukho juhuyānniśi | evaṃ saptadinaṃ kurvanmārayeduddhataṃ ripun || 37 ||

متجهاً نحو الجنوب، يجب تقديم القرابين في الليل باستخدام ثلاثمائة عود حطب. ويقال إن ممارسة هذا الطقس بهذه الطريقة لمدة سبعة أيام تؤدي إلى هلاك العدو المتغطرس.
