FAQs

The verse frames spiritual practice as both technical and ethical: one should perform welfare-producing prayogas (disciplined procedures) and then take refuge in a powerful divine aid—Pavanānandana (Hanumān)—for protection and success.

Even while discussing technical prayogas, the verse turns toward devotion by directing the practitioner to worship Hanumān, implying that ritual efficacy is strengthened when grounded in reverence and surrender to a divine protector.

It highlights prayoga-vidyā (applied ritual/technical procedure) and hints at jyotiṣa-style timing by referencing the moon in the sky, suggesting that performance may be aligned with auspicious lunar conditions.
