Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches the classical mantra-identifiers—syllable-count (varṇa), seer (ṛṣi), and metre (chandas)—showing that correct knowledge of a mantra’s form is part of disciplined Vedic practice and supports successful sādhana.
By stressing proper mantra structure and attribution, it implies that devotional japa becomes more effective when performed with vidhi (right method), aligning heartfelt bhakti with Vedic correctness.
Chandas (Vedic metrics) and mantra-lakṣaṇa: identifying Anuṣṭubh metre, recognizing the mantra’s ṛṣi (Viśvāmitra), and noting the syllable-count (nineteen) for accurate recitation and ritual application.
