Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It prescribes a Rama-centered meditation formula (dhīmahi) and a prayer for grace (dayā), presenting mantra-recitation as a direct means of invoking Rama’s compassionate protection.
Bhakti is expressed through loving identification of the deity—“Sītā’s beloved”—and through humble supplication, asking Rama to bestow mercy, making devotion both contemplative (dhyāna) and prayerful (praṇati).
It emphasizes mantra-prayoga and correct recitation (samuccāra/saṃvad), aligning with Śikṣā (phonetics) and the disciplined use of sacred sound (varṇa) in japa.
