Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada, within the Vedanga/ritual-technical discourse)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents a rakṣā-vidhi (protective rite) centered on the sacred cakra, indicating that consecrated sacred symbols, when properly inscribed and borne, function as spiritual protection and support for success.
Though technical in form, the cakra is traditionally associated with Viṣṇu; bearing it implies reliance on the Lord’s power for protection, aligning practical life with devotional dependence rather than mere personal strength.
It reflects applied ritual procedure (prayoga)—the use of correct inscription (ullekha) and prescribed medium (bhūrja) for a protective talisman—typical of technical instructions preserved alongside Vedanga-oriented material.
