Narada (teaching in a Vaiṣṇava observance/technical-ritual context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It declares the phala (result) of dhāraṇā of the Sudarśana Cakra—victory and protection—affirming the Cakra as the supreme divine power of Viṣṇu that removes obstacles.
Bhakti here is expressed through reverent identification with Viṣṇu’s emblem: honoring and bearing the Cakra as the Lord’s sovereignty, the devotee gains divine support and steadiness in dharma, leading to “jaya” (triumph).
It highlights prayoga (applied ritual practice): dhāraṇā—wearing/inscribing a sacred Vaiṣṇava symbol as a protective observance—showing how technical ritual acts are linked to specific, stated results (phala-śruti).
