FAQs

It distinguishes two inner ritual movements of nyāsa: an ascent from the heart to the crown to stabilize and sustain sacred presence (sthiti), and an ascent from the feet to the head to withdraw and dissolve the rite’s installed energies (saṃhāra).

Though technical, it supports bhakti-upāsanā by showing how devotional mantra-practice is ritually established (for steady remembrance) and then respectfully concluded (with withdrawal), preserving reverence and mental discipline.

It highlights prayoga-style ritual sequencing used in mantra-śāstra and allied Vedāṅga practice—specifically the directional order of nyāsa as a technical rule for correct performance and completion of worship.
