दीपस्य पुरतः स्थाप्यध्यात्वा देवं जपेन्मनुम् । प्रदीपे स्थापिते पश्येद्द्विजरूपं गणेश्वरम् ॥ ८९ ॥
dīpasya purataḥ sthāpyadhyātvā devaṃ japenmanum | pradīpe sthāpite paśyeddvijarūpaṃ gaṇeśvaram || 89 ||
بوضع (القربان المقدّس) أمام السراج، يتأمّل المرء الإله ويُكرّر المانترا. وعند تثبيت السراج، ينبغي أن يُشاهَد غَنيشَفَرا في هيئة «ذو الميلادين» (براهمن).
