Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It links outer ritual action (immersing and sprinkling water) with inner practice (remembering the mūla-mantra and visualizing the deity), teaching that consecration succeeds through combined mantra and dhyāna.
Bhakti is expressed here as devākṛti-smaraṇa—holding the Lord’s form in mind while performing the rite—so the act becomes worship rather than mere technique.
It highlights ritual precision—use of mudrā (kumbha-mudrā), prescribed repetition (three immersions), and mantra-smaraṇa—elements aligned with applied Kalpa/ritual procedure within the Vedāṅga-oriented portion of Book 1.3.
