قالت مادايَنتي: «يا وارثَ الكشاتريا، اكبح غضبك. إن ما كان عليك أن تذوق ثمرته من عملٍ ما—فقد أتاك الآن؛ لا شكّ في ذلك.»
Madayanti
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta (peace)
Secondary Rasa: karuna (compassion)
It teaches karmic clarity and inner discipline: one should restrain anger and recognize that experiences arise from one’s own prior actions, encouraging patience and dharmic conduct.
While not explicitly naming bhakti, it supports devotional life by urging control of krodha (anger)—a key obstacle to steady remembrance and worship—so the devotee can endure results of karma without losing righteousness.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is directly taught; the practical takeaway is dharma-nīti—ethical restraint and karmic accountability, which underlies proper ritual and disciplined spiritual practice.
