يا خيرَ الحكماء، كان لذلك الملك زوجتان: كيشيني وسوماتي، وكلتاهما ابنتا كاشيابا من فيداربها.

It preserves the puranic vamsha (genealogical memory), showing how dharmic lineages and alliances are traced through marriages—an important framework for understanding later events and teachings.
This verse is primarily genealogical rather than devotional; its contribution is contextual—establishing the narrative lineage in which later Vishnu-bhakti teachings and exemplars appear.
Indirectly, it reflects the importance of accurate naming, lineage, and relationship-records—areas supported by Vyākaraṇa (grammar) and Nirukta (etymological clarification) in preserving textual and historical precision.
