गङ्गामाहात्म्य — The Greatness of the Gaṅgā
भूलेपनादिभिः सम्यग्यतः सानुदिनं मुनेः । चकार सेवां तेनासौ जीर्णपुण्येन कर्मणा ॥ ४ ॥
bhūlepanādibhiḥ samyagyataḥ sānudinaṃ muneḥ | cakāra sevāṃ tenāsau jīrṇapuṇyena karmaṇā || 4 ||
وبسبب بساطته وسائر خصاله المتواضعة صار مهذَّبًا منضبطًا، وكان يومًا بعد يوم يخدم المُنيّ. وبهذا الفعل—المولود من فضلٍ قديمٍ تقادم عليه الزمان—أدّى خدمةً تعبّدية (بهكتي).
