FAQs

It links humility toward the guru (touching/clasping the teacher’s feet) with the proper timing of sacred study, teaching that knowledge bears fruit when approached with reverence and observed on ritually potent lunar days (parvan/tithi).

Bhakti is expressed here as guru-bhakti and disciplined practice: honoring the preceptor and engaging in regular recitation on auspicious observance-days, aligning one’s devotion with sacred time.

It emphasizes calendrical/ritual timing (tithi and parvan observances), a practical application aligned with Vedāṅga concerns—especially the correct scheduling of study and rites according to lunar days.
