कुर्यात्प्रतिदिनं वर्णीं ब्रह्मयज्ञं च तर्पणम् । अग्निकार्यपरित्यागी पतितः प्रोच्यते बुधैः ॥ २७ ॥

Transliteration

kuryātpratidinaṃ varṇīṃ brahmayajñaṃ ca tarpaṇam | agnikāryaparityāgī patitaḥ procyate budhaiḥ || 27 ||

Translation

على البرهمتشاري أن يقوم كل يوم بتلاوة الڤيدا، وبـ«برهما-يَجْنَ» (Brahma-yajña)، وبقرابين «تَرْپَنَ» بالماء. ومن يترك واجبات طقوس النار المقررة يعلنه الحكماء ساقطًا (پَتِتَ).
