Narada (instructional narration within a teaching dialogue tradition attributed to Narada Purana)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that worship is not only external ritual (abhiṣeka, fragrance, naivedya) but must be performed in proper order with devotion and self-restraint, making the offering inwardly purified.
Bhakti is shown as attentive service: bathing the deity with pañcāmṛta, honoring the prescribed upacāra sequence, and offering food—while controlling the senses so the act becomes loving surrender rather than mere formality.
Ritual practicality is emphasized through kramāt (correct sequence of upacāras) and disciplined conduct; it reflects kalpa-style procedural knowledge applied to pūjā rather than a theoretical Vedāṅga discussion.
