Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes disciplined purity—rising at dawn, completing prātaḥ-kṛtya, and sanctifying one’s day through a regulated homa of 108 offerings, aligning the practitioner with dharma and inner steadiness.
Though primarily ritual, it supports bhakti by prescribing a sattvic routine and consecrated offerings; such ordered worship is presented as a practical foundation that steadies the mind for sustained devotion.
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure) through the sequence of morning observances and the counted oblations (108), and it also implies time-discipline (proper dawn timing), a key practical aspect of Vedic rite-performance.
