Dvādaśī-vrata: Month-by-month Viṣṇu Worship and the Year-End Udyāpana
ऋषय ऊचुः । साधु सूत महाभाग त्वयातिकरुणात्मना । श्रावितं सर्वपापघ्नं गङ्गामाहात्म्यमुत्तमम् ॥ १ ॥
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | sādhu sūta mahābhāga tvayātikaruṇātmanā | śrāvitaṃ sarvapāpaghnaṃ gaṅgāmāhātmyamuttamam || 1 ||
قال الحكماء: «أحسنتَ يا سوتا، يا ذا الحظ العظيم! بقلبٍ مفعمٍ برحمةٍ فريدة، قد تلوْتَ علينا المجدَ الأسمى للغانغا، مُبيدةَ جميعِ الآثام».
