Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a dharma/prāyaścitta context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It frames bodily discipline and purity (śauca) as part of dharma, prescribing a measured prāyaścitta—fasting and a ghee-offering—to restore ritual fitness after an improper act.
Indirectly: it supports bhakti by emphasizing inner and outer cleanliness and self-restraint, which traditionally prepare a person for worship, mantra, and sacred observances without ritual impediments.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is implied: the verse specifies a corrective homa using ghee and a defined period of restraint (a day and night) as a practical ritual remedy.
