FAQs

It elevates bhūmidāna (donation of land) as an unsurpassed act of dharma whose fruit is not merely merit (puṇya) but the highest goal—parama-nirvāṇa (liberation).

Though it speaks in the idiom of dāna, the verse implies surrender of ownership and ego; such selfless giving, when aligned with dharma and offered in a spirit of devotion, becomes supportive of the mokṣa-oriented life praised in Purāṇic bhakti traditions.

No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; it primarily conveys dāna-dharma. Practically, it points to the ritual-ethical principle of proper gifting (dāna-vidhi) rather than grammar, astrology, or phonetics.
