लंकोदयात्स्याद्वारादिस्तस्मादूर्ध्वमधोऽपिवा । देशांतरस्वचरार्द्धनाडीभिरपरे भवेत् ॥ १५९ ॥
laṃkodayātsyādvārādistasmādūrdhvamadho'pivā | deśāṃtarasvacarārddhanāḍībhirapare bhavet || 159 ||
انطلاقًا من شروق الشمس في لَنْكا (Laṅkā) يُحدَّد الوقت في دْوَارَكا (Dvārakā) وسائر المواضع—إمّا متقدّمًا (أكثر) أو متأخّرًا (أقل). وفي الأقاليم الأخرى تُحسَب الفروق بأنصاف النّادي (nāḍī) بحسب انزياح الطول المحلي (sva-cara).
